Making use of a widescreen one-page site, Seven Grams Caffé tantalizes visitors with their homemade baked goods and artisanal coffee in a single mouthwatering photo.
Using a simple and elegant web design, Seven Grams Caffé puts their food in the forefront with the testimonials, social media prompts, contacts, and image galleries located a few scrolls below.
This Kuala Lumpur-based patisserie knows how to tackle your tastebud with their website's design. As soon as you load the page, you’ll be greeted with a picture of their shop and their lineup of mouth-watering pastries on display.

Using a parallax layout, visitors can look through her skills and competencies, the clients she worked with, and even her portfolio. The site also showcases her talent in content management and visual design with a layout that’s visually attractive while still easy to navigate.
French Knot Studios knows how to grab your attention with its clever use of color and a slideshow filled with stunning images. The boutique event planner, wedding design and styling studio strategically placed the social buttons at top of the site so that visitors can check out their Instagram and Pinterest page at a single click.
Even their portfolio page is structured in a way that gives out details about the photos underneath its thumbnail.
One of the more impressive portfolio sites, Animal Music goes all out in striking designs with the entire homepage used as one big showcase for their big portfolio pieces.
With barely any text around, visitors are bombarded with videos, images and more, creating a website that's truly unique to their brand. They’ve even made sure to stick the social media buttons on the sides so that people can follow their page at any time.
Plenty of designers have been using Wix’s template to create some pretty stunning and beautiful pages. Add Liam Rinat to the list with a very uniquely designed personal site that’s befitting of a “Visual Storyteller”.

Brown Owl Creative shows what you can do with Wix in the hands of awesome designers. The full-screen site shows off the web design agency’s flair for creative using designs that are inspired by retro fonts and buttons.
They even added an extra detail of the mouse icon changing to a Windows 98-like pointer when you hover over a clickable section.
A photographer based in South Africa, Hilary O’Leary takes full advantage of Wix’s template designs to create a stunning website that shows off her equally stunning pictures of the African wildlife.
Using the parallax scrolling effect, she manages to capture her visitor’s attention with simple (yet beautiful) designs along with her powerful images of the African wildlife.
A lot of designers tend to go overboard with their website design but Thai Pham goes the complete opposite by using a simple Wix Pro Gallery to create his website. He cleverly puts the emphasis on his photographs which shows off his ability to capture beautiful moments.
Again, this shows that in hands of good creatives, you can create stunning websites on Wix with the simplest design.
You’ve seen Karlie Kloss promoting Wix a lot and it easy to see why. Her website is a great example of how powerful the templates and tools that Wix has to offer.
Designed entirely by Kloss, the site highlights all the important details with her latest work featured on the homepage along with her social media buttons, projects and campaigns, and her Kode with Klossy initiative.
The official website of Manchester City champ, Sergio “Kun” Aguero is equally remarkable as his soccer skills. Using a stunning Wix template, Aguero’s website gives his fans all the information they need about the soccer superstar, which includes his story, stats and social media presence.
Plus, his website is also viewable in two languages, English or his native Espanŏl. That way, his fans from Argentina and across the world can read up on his preparations for the World Cup or the Champions League
One important thing to take note of when you are using the Wix template is that you can't change a new template for a Wix site you have created. Once you have chosen a template and added content to it, you can't change to another template.
If you want to use a different template, you have to create a new site with the new template. After the new site is created, you need to transfer your plan and domain to the newly created site. If your domain name is registered with 3rd party domain registrars, you have to make sure the DNS record is updated correctly to the new site.
Wix powers all sorts of websites around the world ranging from professional portfolios like Karlie Kloss to business sites like Real Graphene USA. Wix is the second most popular website builder in the world by market share, with users managing over 300,000 domains.

Depending on your needs, Wix plans can get pretty expensive over time and you are mainly limited to supporting resources only from within the Wix ecosystem. Wix also doesn't allow the export of websites, so transferring to another host will be difficult should you decide to move in the future.
Wix is a website builder and WordPress is a Content Management System. Wix is easier to use, but does not have the long term potential of WordPress.
Wix doesn't own your content but because of its proprietary design, it doesn't allow users to export their websites.
